In Loving Memory of Leslie “Lezlie” Parsons It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of Leslie (Lezlie) Parsons, a vibrant and spirited woman whose warmth, compassion, and love touched the lives of all who knew her. Lezlie passed away at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday May 14, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of joy, strength, and unforgettable memories. Lezlie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Parsons; her mother, Lucille Rankin; father, Neville Lewis; sister, Lynn Sutherland; and brother, Ken Lewis. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted niece, Melissa Espinoza, nephew-in-law Luis Espinoza, and their children Gabriela and Nicolas. She is also survived and remembered by her nephew Myles Gascon and his children, Iris and Violet. Although her immediate family was small, she played an essential role in the lives of her niece, nephew, and their children, offering never ending love, wisdom, laughter, and a loyal presence through all of life’s moments. Lezlie lived with a rare zest for life, always radiating joy, humour, and kindness. Whether she was sharing a story, offering comfort, or lighting up a room with her infectious smile, she had a way of making everyone feel seen and loved. One of her favourite places was the cottage, where she found true happiness entertaining loved ones and surrounding herself with nature. Her time at the cottage reflected the very best of who she was - warm, welcoming, and full of life. A celebration of life will be held with close family and friends, but announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to a charity close to your heart, in Lezlie’s honour. Forever in our hearts, Lezlie. Your light, your laughter, and your love will never be forgotten.
