Obituary of Sheila Jean Cameron

In loving memory of Sheila Jean Cameron nee (Munro) who passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Mount Hope LTC London, Ontario on Friday June 6, 2025 in her 94th year. She was born July 6, 1931 in Bruce County Ontario the daughter of Clyve and Edna Munro. Beloved wife of the late John Delmer Cameron (1991) and the late Rev Charles Wright (2016). She is survived by her four children: Peter Cameron (Jennifer) of London, Paul Cameron (Peggy) of Belmont, John Cameron (Wendy) of London, and Mary Cameron of London. Survived by nine grandchildren,nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In the early years, Sheila was a nurse at St Joseph’s hospital before she worked at the McCormick Home. She always enjoyed her time at the cottage in Point Clark and travelling with Charles on cruises. Sheila always put her family first and often expressed her love by sewing, knitting, and quilting for the family. Sheila loved card games, and she often won at Wizard and Bridge. She taught her children and grandchildren the joys of card games by introducing them to Euchre and Cribbage at a young age. Sheila adored fiddle music and was always ready to go to a dance. Cremation has already taken place. There will be a celebration of Sheila’s life on Sunday July 6, 2025 1pm-4pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, 7097 Kilbourne Rd. Lambeth ON N61K5. Private interment will take place August 1, 2025 in Ripley ON.
