Obituary of Hermann Pollak

In Loving Memory of Hermann Pollak. Beloved Husband, Father, Opa, and Great-Opa It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hermann Pollak, who left us peacefully on June 25, 2025, in his 83rd year, in the City of London, Ontario. Hermann was a devoted husband to Catherine Pollak, with whom he shared a life built on love, strength, and dedication. He was a loving father to: Shirley Hilton, Laura Smith and her husband Van Smith, David Pollak and his fiancée Lianne Poole. He was a proud and cherished Opa to his grandchildren: Shayna and Trent Wayne, Hannah Smith, Pierce Smith, Emily Pollak, and Sara Pollak. He was also blessed to be a Great-Opa to his great-grandson, Isaac Wayne, son of Shayna and Trent. Hermann will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous spirit, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, and in the memories shared by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Hermann’s life will be held on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, at Palasad South, 141 Pine Valley Blvd., London, Ontario, N6K 3T6, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Food will be served, and all who knew him are warmly welcome to attend and share in remembering his life.
