Obituary of Harvey E. Pierce

Peacefully, after a lengthy illness and surrounded by family, Harvey E. Pierce passed away on August 26, 2025, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Linda Pierce for 54 wonderful years. Loving father to Martina (Dean), and an adored “GPA” to Ashlee and Jessica. Dear brother of Velma Shantz, Edith McGinnis (Chuck), and Carol Lacey (Jim). Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Kathie Bielak (Dave) and Betty Pierce. He was a cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his beloved son Jeff Pierce, parents Edna and Raymond Pierce, mother in law Margaret Worrell, sisters Mona Davis (Herbie) and Donna McGregor (Jim), brothers Kenneth and Nelson Pierce, and brother in laws Merle Shantz and Mark Worrell Harvey enjoyed a fulfilling 48-year career at McCormick Canada Inc. before retiring. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hamilton and staff for their exceptional care and compassion. At Harvey’s request, there will be no funeral.
