I sure remember Mike from canada trust - quite a few years ago. One thing I remember most was the wonderful way Mike could say ‘aahhhh’ after a long day of work and the first sip of a cold beer! Rip

My heartfelt condolences to Cathy and the family. I have many wonderful memories shared with Mike and his family. I worked the shifts with Mike, Ian and the rest of his team at Canada Trust. I vividly remember the numerous evening dinners after shift work and sharing many an evening with him, Cathy and his children. Really enjoyed those Christmas dinner meals at his place with his family especially David (aka stringbean). We laughed, joked, partied hard and shared many an evening.
Mike, my dear friend, you will be dearly missed! God bless and rest in peace.

My deep condolences to Cathy and family. I worked the shift with Mike's team back in the early 80's. I remember fondly the shift dinner parties you would host. Omg the laughs we had. Mike was a real positive influence on me in my first years at Canada Trust. To some he appeared to have a gruff exterior but those who knew him well knew better. He was fiercely protective and supportive of his team, friends, and undoubtedly his family. I'm sorry we lost touch in recent years but the time working with Mike are still dear to me all these years later. He was one of a kind.

Our sincerest condolences to you Cathy and your family. It was with great sadness hearing about Mike passing. Way too soon for one of the funniest energetic guys we were fortunate enough to have as a friend. I liked Mike from our first meeting at a Grantham High staff party when he brought a case of Labatts 50, my beer of choice at that time as a Waterloo grad. Then we continued a friendship that included great times skiing in Quebec (challenging Stu Colt to writing our names in the snow after apres ski sessions), making wine in your basement, going to the farm in Mount Brydges that included slopping out the pig pens (fun? Euww!), and then barbecuing at the new home (with Mike stopping along the road to snap off corn cobs from a field that he claimed he knew the owner of? - best tasting corn I have eaten!). Yes Mike was one of a kind and we cherish our times with him. Love the obituary!
Thinking of you Ron and Jennifer

When they were young, yurich men stood proud at a wedding in Toronto and sadly the Trokia formation is broken. Loved ones live on in what they did and said with friends and family.
Money spent at CNE swimming at Sunny side pool taking steam baths at Mc Farlane lake in Sudbury, picking pears in the still of the night, raising a glass or two at the Coqd’or or listening to Ronnie Hawkins, crossing the border to eat steak and fries at Pete’s Market place. Coming to Sudbury and feel so honoured to be Jame’s god father.
Fond memories will not be forgotten.
MAY IT HELP THE FAMILY TO KNOW WE KEEP YOU IN PRAYERS AND WE EXTEND OUR HEARTFELT SYMPATHY.
Remembering our 50th anniversary with a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka.
A memorial mass will be said in your honour at St Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Sudbury.

Have been friends with Mike and Cathy for over 50 years! Met in Florida when Cathy was pregnant with Johanna. We became instant friends and began to spend spring break vacations together with other friends at The Jamaican Beach Motel! So many wonderful memories as the Baranowsky family grew and our kids grew up together.
After my husband suffered a life long injury Mike and another friend drove thru a snow storm to visit on one of the lowest days of Ron’s life and had him smiling. Of course a Molson on his bedside table helped.
We shared many moments of happiness and sadness together. We were privileged to share Mikes fight with cancer. Mike was there to stay with Ron when I went away to LasVegas. Of course on my return I was told “what happened in West Carrollton stays in West Carrollton!”
Hope memories can help relieve sadness with your loss dear Baranowsky family. Always consider you family!!!

Like Carlos, I also spent a good deal of time underfoot at the Baranowsky home and I’m grateful for the wisdom and banter that time shared with Mike always delivered. All the McCrackens send their sympathies and love to the entire Baranowsky family.

I will forever be grateful for the love, kindness and TRUE words that Dad B spoke to me over the years. He always made me feel welcomed & accepted in his home. He also allowed me to call myself his Portuguese son which is a great honour. Dad B was an enormous influence in my life and I will always be grateful for him.
I would like to express my deepest condolences to the entire Baranowsky family.
