Obituary of Marilyn Brooks

Peacefully, at age 76, Marilyn passed away at home on October 12, 2025. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Laura Lee Henry (Barry), Carrie Pickles (Ferman), and Connie Brooks (Nick); grandchildren Douglas, Thane, Lonny, Michael, Jesse, Brandon, Tyler, and Katelyn; and great-grandchildren Jayden and Charlee. Fondly remembered by her sister Virginia and brother William and her extended family. Marilyn was predeceased by her partner Tony, mother Ruth (Dave), father Robert, brother-in-law Larry, and grandson Atilla. Also Vic Brooks and Ron Pickles. She devoted 30 years of work to the Royal Canadian Legion, always ready to lend a hand and give her time wherever it was needed. Marilyn had a deep love for celebrating the holidays in festive outfits and decorating with joy. She also cherished tending to her gardens, camping, and spending time with family, friends and co-workers. Please join us in remembering her kindness, laughter, and beautiful spirit at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 25th, from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, Byron Branch 533, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London, Ontario.
