Obituary of Frederick Lawrence Trafford

It is with deep love and sadness that we share the passing of Larry Trafford, who left us peacefully at Parkwood Hospital in London on Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 at the age of 83. Larry was the beloved husband of Ria, whose love and devotion was his greatest joy. He was the loving Dad of Colleen “Birdie” and Michele and Step-Dad to Susan (Ed) and Kimberley (Bill). Adored Grandpa of Jade, Corey and Benjamin. He will be deeply missed by his brother Peter (Diane) and is now reunited with his cherished Mom, Dad and brother Philip. Larry was a humble, kind and inventive man who lived life with quiet strength and a big heart. He had a wonderful sense of humour and took great pride in the many engineering projects he created. His smile was always genuine as was his love for his treasured wife and family and hometown of Durham, Ontario. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry has been cremated and will be laid to rest at Durham Cemetery. Much recognition and gratitude goes out to all the caregivers at 2 Perth at Parkwood Hospital.
