Very sorry for your loss. I remember John from work and as a wonderful neighbor, living just around the corner street in Kincardine.

John was an important part of our music programs at L'Arche London. He shared his talents and his heart openly with us, inspiring others to do the same. John will be remembered fondly and dearly missed by the L'Arche London community. I want to send my condolences to his family at this time - please know that his rhythm will live on through our community music club and drum circle.

I knew John through the Thursday afternoon drumming group at L’Arche. John contributed so much with his drumming, but his warmth, kindness and enthusiasm made the biggest impression on me. I’m grateful for the time I got to spend with him. His absence from our group will be felt deeply by us all. My condolences to his family and friends on your loss.

Rest in Peace Uncle John xxoo I'm sure you are up there making Nan, Grandad, Dad, Auntie Marg and Uncle Geoff laugh by doing your Tetley Tea Folk impersonation with a couch cushion on your head. Thank you for so many wonderful memories. These photos were taken in Nova Scotia at Fisherman's Cove. It was such a lovely day.

Here are a couple of pics of my dear brother John, sister Margaret, and myself. These pics go way back! John must have been about 7 in the first one. It was taken in England before we came to Canada. The trio pic was taken in Canada. I look to be about 7, Margaret about 12, and John 15. I thought these would be a nice addition to the great photos you’ve posted Mike!
I was especially touched by the quote from the poem High Flight, my brother’s favourite. He surely has “slipped the surly bonds of earth.”
I have so many cherished memories of John. So many. It’s not surprising that lots of those involved him acting like a clown. He loved to make people laugh and was very good at it. He was a gentle soul, a gentleman, and a truly amazing big brother. I shall miss him. He leaves a big space in all our hearts. ❤️
