Obituary of Rosanna Mary Hubbert

Passed away peacefully at London University Hospital in her 93rd year. Beloved mother of Jeffrey Hubbert (Trudy) of London, Janice Hubbert (Steve Del Genio) of Huntsville, Anne Sincennes (Emmanuel) of Caledon, and Paul Hubbert (Caroline McLean) of Evanston, Nova Scotia. Dear grandmother to Phillip and Julia Hubbert and Eric and Alexander Sincennes. Predeceased by her parents, Philip and Rose (Shulist) Blank and brothers Xavier (Nellie), Zigmund (Josephine), Henry (Veronica), Philip Jr. (Virginia), sisters Esther Durham (Charlie) and Reta Lienhardt (Ralph) and foster brother Hubert Kenny (Margaret). Will be missed by her sister Leona (late Michael) Palinkas of Mount Pleasant and numerous nieces and nephews. Deeply spiritual Rosanna was an active parishioner at St. John the Divine Parish in Westmount and St. George Parish in Byron. She had a great love of the arts, music and singing and was a member of the choir at St. George for many years. A long-time cottager at Sauble Beach for more than 40 years, she loved the outdoors, gardening and hiking. The family wishes to express deep appreciation and a special thanks to Ildiko Orosi, who has been Rosanna's dear friend and devoted care companion, providing exceptional senior's assistance since January 2023. Funeral mass will be held at St George Parish, 1164 Commissioners Rd West, London, Ontario on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Visitors will be received in the church vestibule one hour prior to the service. Reception to follow in the church hall. A private family interment will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery in Paris, Ontario. If desired, a memorial donation can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada
