Obituary of Robert Allen Link
Robert “Bob” Allen Link passed away peacefully on Monday March 23rd, 2026 at University Hospital in London, Ontario at the age of 74. Bob is survived by his wife Lorna of 43 years, his sons Brian and Scott (Brooke) and his precious grandchildren Aurelia and Warren. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Yolanda Link. He will be forever missed by his sister Karen Rose and nephews, nieces and cousins that were a big part of his life.
Bob lived an interesting childhood, growing up at the Fork of the Thames in London. The stories we heard about his adventures with the wildlife kept us laughing. As a teenager he enjoyed his summers at the Link Campground in Callander, Ontario near North Bay that was owned by his grandparents. Bob earned his diploma in electronics at Fanshawe College before running his own business for 33 years and eventually retired in 2016. He was the most talented handyman and would graciously help anyone who asked with their home projects and repairs. One thing we all learned was to never play Trivial Pursuit against him as he was a wealth of information, he loved to learn.
Bob will be dearly missed by family and friends but we have comfort knowing that he is out of pain, that he can now rest in peace.
We would like to thank the staff at University Hospital. Your care and compassion were greatly appreciated.
