Obituary of David Scott Sheppard

Peacefully, surrounded by family, David passed in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Carolyn Sheppard, dear father of Stephen and Michael (Jill), loving grandfather of Megan Barnard (James David), Lindsay Sheppard (Greg Crabb), brother of Leigh Skene (Kathy). Predeceased by parents William Scott Sheppard and Jean Francis Sheppard (nee Matheson). Dave will be missed by friends at the Ilderton Curling Club, Science Hill Drifters Snowmobile Club, and anyone who had the opportunity to spend time with him at the island or challenge him to a game of cards. Dave loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and conservationist. After receiving his PhD from the University of Western Ontario in Chemistry, Dr. David Sheppard had a successful career at 3M Canada Company for over 30 years. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held for the immediate family at a later date.
