Obituary of Julie Foisy

Julie (Julianne)Simone, nee Paquette, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at the Barrie Family Hospice in St.Thomas on Monday April 27, 2026 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Rene Dallard Foisy. Dearly loved by her only child, Carol Carel Decock of St.Thomas and beloved son-in-law Rick Graham Decock. Cherished grandmother to Shawn (Nicole) Decock of London and Mere to Great-grandson Mason of London. Dear Sister to Pauline, Noella, Jeannine, Real, and Paylydor. Predeceased by siblings Remi, Marcel, Aline, Albert, Carmella , Jean-Marie, and Paul-Emile. Lovingly remember by many nieces. nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Julie was born in Ste.Rose de Poularies, Quebec to the late Ferdinand and Francoise (Arsenault)Paquette. Julie always enjoyed camping at Lake Whittaker and making the best campfires around. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing along. Julie was also a beloved cook by her family and anyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her perogies, Tourtière and Sea pies. Her love for her family was enormous. The family would like to thank the staff of the Barrie Family Hospice in St.Thomas for their loving care of Julie during her short stay. Cremation has taken place and a private family internment will be at a later date. Her wishes are entrusted to London Cremation Services.
