Gerald Wayne Springer It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Wayne Springer on June 10, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on September 26, 1960, Wayne spent much of his life in London, Ontario. He was a hardworking and dedicated man who worked as an industrial painter and forklift operator before enjoying his retirement. Wayne was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sheree Springer, and his sister, Debbie Bierling. He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Marlene (Manders), to whom he was a devoted and caring son. He also leaves behind his loving family who will cherish his memory forever: his daughter, Courtney Springer (Rob); his son, Corey Springer (Beth); his treasured granddaughter, Kai-Lyn; and his sister, Kim Forster (Springer). Wayne will also be fondly remembered by his many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, friends, and all whose lives he touched. A devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Wayne was known for his kind heart, caring nature, and unwavering love for his family. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with those he loved. He also enjoyed watching western movies, cheering on hockey or football games, cooking a good dinner and sharing simple moments with family and friends. Wayne will be remembered as a wonderful man whose generosity, warmth, compassion, and quiet strength touched the lives of many. His love, guidance, and presence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Wayne’s life will be held at a later date.
