My deepest condolences to Christine, Louise, Sue, and the extended family.
I was privileged to know your mother (and father), and I will always be grateful for the kindness and generosity they showed me when I was young. They welcomed me into the Prydie fold and made me feel like part of the family. Their warmth and support have had a lasting impact on my life.
Mariette was a strong matriarch, generous, warm, and able to bring a group of crazy kids into line with a simple glance. I loved her infectious laugh. I was fortunate to see her recently, and it was a joy to reconnect and be welcomed once again with that same warmth.
Thank you for sharing your family with me. I will always be grateful for your parents’ kindness.

I have so many treasured memories of time spent with my Aunt Mariette and my Uncle Richard.
In addition to my own memories I was fortunate enough to hear a lot of the stories over the years of the shenanigans that went on.
My condolences to my cousins and their families and may we all find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace.

Our condolences to the entire Prydie family and extended family. Frank and I thought the world of Mariette. . She was a very special part of our lives. Mariette and Dick were the best neighbours. We have many fond memories over the last 30 years on Premier road and it was a joy to spend time with them. She will be missed
