Dear Corey, Kelly and Leo, I was so incredibly saddened to hear of the loss of your beloved Annie. Although I never met her, I felt I knew her through you telling me all about her and showing me photos of both your beautiful children. She always sounded like such a fun-filled little girl, her beautiful spirit radiated from the photos and it was such a joy to see how much you enjoyed your children. Your stories of her dressing up reminded me of my daughter Ruth.

Dear Kelly, Corey, and Leo,
I am truly at a loss for words.
Even though I had the privilege of being Annie's educator for only a short time, the connection we shared has stayed with me. We spent many wonderful mornings together. Her favorite snack was yogurt and bananas, and she always enjoyed them with a smile. She loved playing hide-and-seek and listening to books being read aloud. Annie had such a special energy, and her laughter always filled the room with joy.
There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so deeply loved, especially a beautiful child like Annie. Please know that my heart is with all of you during this incredibly difficult time.
I hope you find strength in one another, comfort in the love of your family and friends, and peace in the many beautiful memories you shared with Annie. Her bright spirit, joyful laughter, and gentle presence touched so many lives, and she will always be remembered with love.

Kelly, Corey, and Leo,
There are truly no words to express how deeply sorry I am to hear of Annie’s passing. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to know her and to be part of her early years at daycare.
Annie Banannie was someone who left a lasting mark, a little presence that touched everyone around her. She was a sweet but sassy soul, with a kind heart and a natural charisma that drew people in. Her spirited, contagious personality is something that will always be remembered.
Her love for nature was so special, and I know I will never look at an acorn the same way again. I would often find them tucked into my pockets, or when doing laundry at home, what we so fondly called “Annie’s offerings.” Those small, beautiful moments will stay with me always.
Please know that you are all in my thoughts during this incredibly difficult time. Annie has forever left her mark on all of us, and she will always be remembered with so much love.

Dear Kelly, Corey, and Leo. Words are never enough. We can only imagine the loss of such a sweet young daughter and little sister. And that cannot touch the pain you feel. We can only offer hope. And that comes from someone you knew Kelly. Natalie’s mom dropped by after her passing to let me know how wonderful the other side is. That gives me faith that Annie is now smiling and free of pain. And just perhaps with her grandfather. Wait for a visit. It will happen when you least expect.

Such a difficult time when words just seem to fall short. Nothing we can say will ease the pain. I will never forget one of my favourite little Sharks. She came into the office with a smile every time and was a definite leader amongst her classmates. Even this year she was so happy to be at school when she could. Annie has made a lasting impression on our community and we were very lucky to have had the time we did with her.
