Obituary of David Gerard Bannon

Bannon, David G. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of David Gerard Bannon on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Dave was predeceased by his loving wife, Mary Ann. Dave was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his children, Jenn, Derek (Jenn), and Jess (Mike). He was a proud Papa to Bannon, Sam, Harrison, Stella, Lucy, Josh, Brielle, and Seth, who will forever cherish the many memories they shared together. Dave is survived by his siblings, Dennis (Paula), Diane (Frank), Mike (Ruth),Donna, Patti and Gary (Maureen), as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Wilf and Steve, and his brother-in-law, Rick. Dave will be remembered for his love of the Boston Bruins, Dallas Cowboys and the Toronto Blue Jays, and for the many wonderful memories he created with his family and friends over the years. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family at a later date.
