Surrounded by the love of her family, Donna left this world knowing just how deeply she was loved, cherished, and appreciated. While her passing leaves an emptiness that can never truly be filled, we find comfort in knowing that she was surrounded by the people who meant the most to her. Born on February 22, 1956, in Listowel, Ontario, Donna lived a life filled with love, laughter, compassion, and devotion to those around her. She had a beautiful way of making people feel comfortable and welcome, no matter who they were. Donna never needed a reason to show kindness, offer a helping hand, share a laugh, or make someone feel like family. Her generous heart and caring nature left an impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path. Donna was the beloved daughter of the late Ellis and Luella Klinck. She was the cherished mother of her only son, Chris, and daughter-in-law, Tara, and the devoted partner of Brian Fraser, with whom she shared 23 years of love, companionship, laughter, and memories. She was also the proud fur momma to Halo and a loving Grandma to Oakley, who brought her a special kind of joy. Donna is survived by her three sisters, Eleanor, Erma, and Cathy, and was predeceased by her siblings Ronald and Marilyn. She will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Each of them holds their own special memories of Donna, from the big moments to the little everyday moments that now mean so much. Above all, Donna was a devoted and loving mother. Her family was the center of her world, and there was nothing she wouldn't do for the people she loved. She took immense pride in being there for her son, celebrating his accomplishments, supporting him through life's challenges, and offering the kind of love that never wavered. She was the person you could turn to when you needed encouragement, comfort, advice, or simply someone to listen. Donna had a way of making her home feel like a safe and welcoming place. There was always room for one more at her table, another story to share, another joke to tell, and another reason to laugh. Her home was filled with warmth, conversation, and the unmistakable feeling that you were loved and accepted exactly as you were.She found happiness in life's simple pleasures and never needed much to have a good time. Donna loved spending time with family and friends, sharing stories, laughing until her stomach hurt, and, of course, cracking a joke whenever the opportunity presented itself. She enjoyed cooking and baking, especially when she could send some of her goodies over to the neighbours. She loved playing bingo in the lounge and spending time down at the slots at China Shores, where she could enjoy herself, have some fun, and hopefully get a little lucky along the way. Donna's sense of humour was one of the many things that made her so special. She knew how to make people laugh, often when they needed it most. She didn't take life too seriously and had a gift for finding something to smile about, even on difficult days. Her stories, sayings, jokes, and the little things she did that made everyone laugh will be remembered and retold for years to come. She was also someone who cared deeply for others. Donna gave her love freely and never expected anything in return. Whether it was a kind word, a home-cooked meal, a helping hand, or simply being there when someone needed her, she had a way of making people feel cared for. She taught those around her that love isn't always found in grand gestures; sometimes it is found in the smallest acts of kindness and in simply showing up for the people who matter. Donna approached life with a generous spirit, a big heart, and an unforgettable sense of humour. She taught her family the importance of loving fiercely, laughing often, being there for one another, and appreciating the people who make life meaningful. Though our hearts are broken by her loss, we are incredibly grateful for the years we were blessed to have her in our lives. We are grateful for every hug, every conversation, every laugh, every meal, every story, and every memory. We are grateful for the lessons she taught us, not only through her words but through the way she lived her life. Her absence will be felt in countless ways. It will be in the quiet moments when we wish we could call her, in the family gatherings where her voice and laughter should be, in the recipes she made, the stories she told, and the little traditions that will never quite feel the same without her. A Celebration of her life will be held at Canadian Corps Legion, 1051 Dundas St, London Ont, on Saturday October 24/2026 from 12:00pm-4:30pm.
