Kelly was one of the great things about working at the office on Exeter Rd. He was always there to greet others with a witty joke or friendly words. I always felt comfortable and safe at the office knowing Kelly was on the job. I admired his demeanour- sincere with a great sense of humour. He will be missed by many. My condolences to family and friends.

I met Kelly on my first day at MTO. Hard to believe it has been almost 9 years. Our love for hockey and the Montreal Canadiens united us instantly. Every morning after a game, we would talk about it and break it down. Whether it was sports or real life issues, he was always positive, choosing to reflect on the good things. That is something I admired about him and tried to imitate. We will all miss his friendly greetings. My family and I, along with all of us at MTO will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers. I will never forget Kelly. He will be truly missed. A true gentleman! Isaac Ferreira

Kelly made sure that the first person you met going to work in the morning and the last person you saw on the way out the door was the kindest, gentlest and funniest person you encountered all day. In this way, he helped you wear a smile all day long. Regret not telling him how much he meant.

I've know Kelly since high school -- 40 years. Then, as now, Kelly was kind, generous, and funny. Like a brother to me, we got up to all kinds of goofiness. From Friday night apartment parties to the beautiful sands of Ipperwash, the Pinery, and Grand Bend. We recently re-connected, and I will miss him.

I met Kelly in 2013 when I joined the MADD London Board of Directors. Kelly was dedicated to the cause and volunteered much of his time to help raise funds and awareness. He consistently went above and beyond. What I will remember most were his stories and the laughs we shared after our Board meetings. I am a better person for having known him. Kelly will be forever missed.

I had been working more closely with Kelly due to the pandemic and he was such an unwavering presence during an uncertain time. There has been more comradery in the office this past year with fewer of us there. He did not hesitate to step us to assist and take on extra tasks to help me out noticing the extra work that I had. He was such a loyal and dedicated person and I cannot stop crying about this loss. I want to say how sorry I am to all his family, friends and co-workers. Please accept my sincere condolences during this difficult time.

Our sincere condolences on the passing of Kelly. Kelly was often the first face we'd see every morning at MTO, and he always greeted you with a smile. His sense of humour, kind spirit, professionalism and genuine care for his responsibilities and the people he worked with were always present, and he was always willing to lend a hand. He will be missed. Jodie and Frank Lucente

I first met Kelly in mid-2012 and worked side by side with him every day until mid-2013. In just that short period of time I had the opportunity to receive the gift of Kelly’s uniquely humorous, enthusiastic, optimistic, jovial, dedicated, selfless, and professional personality. After that, until March 2016 I was greeted by Kelly every day as I arrived at his post as a Commissionaire. Many of which days I stopped to catch up with Kelly on any of his many interesting pastimes. It has been a privilege and an honour to have known Kelly Hartwick. He will be missed by hundreds of people who saw and spoke with him nearly every day. We will remember him.

As a courier, I was fortunate to have Kelly as a regular daily customer. We would chat about many varied subjects and had many a chuckle or laugh. I'll miss his daily greeting and our chats. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I had the pleasure of working with Kelly for the last number of years at the MTO office in London. Our office was located right behind his station and many a time we treated each other to a Tim Hortons coffee. We always looked forward to sharing details about the Remembrance Day services we attended each year. Please accept our sincere condolences to the family.
