Obituary of Henry Harold Enns

ENNS, Henry (Hank) Peacefully at Parkwood Institute, London, Ontario on Friday October 29th, 2021 in his 95th year. He was the beloved husband of Emily (Einarson) who predeceased him in 2019. Loving father to Mark (Linda Armstrong) and Florence Enns. Dear grandfather to Fatima (Fayez), Yusuf, Hassan, Khadeeja (Munawwar), Nasrudeen, Usaamah, Yaseen, Aaeysha and great-grandfather to Zara, Kareem, Asyia, Laith, and Jouda. Missed by siblings Peter (Herta) and Cathy. Predeceased by his parents Harold and Anna. Hank was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1927. At age 18, he joined the RCAF and enjoyed a 25 year career with the Armed Forces. After leaving the service he completed a degree in Computer Science from Western University and spent 20 years in computer programming at WU. He was an active member of his church, which provided for many dear friendships, and had a life-long passion for golf and curling. Even though he lived in Ontario for much of his life, Hank remained a staunch Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan. Cremation has taken place. A private graveside funeral for family only will be held on Monday, 8 November at Woodland Cemetery in London.
