Obituary of Rosemary Deborah Firth

Rose passed peacefully at Parkwood Institute, Palliative Care surrounded by her family on June 21, 2022 in her 63rd year. Rose was born December 27th, l959, and will be greatly missed by her mom and dad, Dorothy and Jack Firth, and her loving aunts, uncles and cousins residing in Ontario, New Brunswick, Alberta and Florida. Rose lived with her parents in London until 1971 when the family moved to New Brunswick. Rose lived with her family in New Brunswick until 1978 when she moved back to London. Rose loved music and was the lead singer of the Ukase Band in mid 1980’s. In the late 80’s Rose moved to Victoria, BC where she opened a store called Second Hand Rose. In the mid 90’s she opened a second store with the same name in Nanaimo, BC. Rose operated the two stores driving back and forth between the two cities in her car she called her “Rosemobile”. When Rose became ill, she sold her stores and moved back to London to be near Mom and Dad in 2007. Rose had a long health battle and is now at peace in God’s Hands with no more pain. The Family would like to thank all Rose’s friends for being there for her always and would also like to thank the very dedicated and professional health care staff on the fourth floor Palliative Care, Parkwood Institute. God Bless You for your support. Rose at her request was cremated and will rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London, Ontario. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Chapel at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Drive, London, Ontario on July 23, 2022 at 10 am.
