Dear Linzi…as you well know, your mom was beautiful inside and out. I haven’t known her a long time however long enough to appreciate her wisdom and strength…also loved her smile and the mischievous look in those lovely brown eyes that signalled she was up for some fun!
She dearly loved you, her pride and joy and best friend. Your devotion to your mom was wonderful to see. Grieving is an up and down experience and process. You will find your own path. May our Lord comfort you and strengthen you, dear one.
She left this valley of pain knowing that after she breathed her last here, she would wake up in Heaven and see Jesus face to face.
With heartfelt condolences,
Joan Hutchinson

Linzi & Paul, our thoughts are with you. Aunt Shirley, you will be remembered and missed! So many memories, from the simple things like; a bottle of blue light or white wine in your hand to the more detailed memories of a strong women who put in a lot of hard work to do things your own way. To love, laugh, heal, be a Mom, be a Sister, be a friend, and, be a helper. Your love of all things Elvis was fun to watch. Your faith and involvement in your faith community was so evident. Most, we will remember your efforts to connect, really connect with us and others. To catch up with family members in meaningful and heartfelt way. Amazing, thank you! Love, Don & Mary Hunter & Family.

Shirley was one of the kindest persons that I knew, she always would lend a shoulder or ear to those that needed one. I admired her Faith through all trials in her life. She adored her dogs and shared the same compassion to others, she loved my Bailey. I will forever miss her, but she’s with Jesus now and others before her. My prayers and heart goes to Linzi through this difficult time. RIP special lady and friend…until we meet again so

Shirley was my HR manager for many years and a woman I admired. She had a strong but fair work ethic, she checked in on her staff and she always smiled and said hello to everyone. She was always quick to let you know when you did a good job. When Shirley spoke of her daughter her eyes lit up, she was so proud. I later got to meet her daughter Linzi and realized she was every bit as special as her Mom. Sending love to Linzi and Paul and the rest of the family during this time. Shirley was a special woman, I believe we are all better people just for having been blessed to know her.

I first met Shirley several years ago at Forest City Community Church. We enjoyed going to many dances, Halloween costume parties and social get together‘s. A fun loving, kind and thoughtful friend. I am happy for Shirley, as Despite many trials and tribulations in this past year, she was able with her loving daughter Lindsay to get to Graceland and Nashville and many side trips in between. But her ultimate trip was to join her heavenly father for whom she had a deep and abiding faith. My sadness is for Lindsay and Paul and her other family members who will miss her terribly. Lyndsay, no daughter could’ve given more to their mother than you. You honoured your mom in the highest way. My deepest heartfelt sympathies to you all. love Ronalee
