Obituary of Jean Isabelle Cowan

Jean Isabelle Cowan died peacefully the morning of June 2, 2023 at Manor Village in London, Ontario. Her son, Cam, and daughter-in-law, PJ, were at her side. Jean was 96 years old. She was predeceased by her husband, Ross Cameron, who died in 1994, and by her siblings Mary Webber, Roy Kirk, Gordon Kirk and Robert Kirk. She is survived by Cam and PJ, loving grandchildren Ross and Nicki, sister Pearl Gans and brothers Donald Kirk and Eugene Kirk and his wife Jane, as well as dozens of nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, who think she was pretty cool. She is also survived by her closest friends Mary Jane and Bill Alexander and Gwen and Richard Barrett and their children, all of whom love her very much. Jean was born and raised in Exeter. Interment will take place at 11:00 am on June 30 at Exeter Public Cemetery, where she will rest next to her husband. A small reception to celebrate Jean will take place afterwards at Eddington’s of Exeter.
