Obituary of Natalie Pauline Michalchuk

Michalchuk, Natalie Pauline Surrounded by her loving family, Natalie passed away peacefully at Arbor Trace Residence in London, Ontario on Thursday November 9, 2023. Predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend Dr. Andrew William, Natalie was in her 86th year. Cherished mother of Christina Michalchuk-Lucas (Steve) of Ottawa, Stephen Michalchuk (Irene) of London and Daniel Michalchuk (Amy) of Maplewood, NJ. Loving “Baba” of Andrew Zachary Michalchuk (London), Benjamin Lucas (Aya) of Vancouver, Nicholas Lucas (Cambridge, UK), Alexandra Michalchuk (Washington, D.C.) and Ellie Michalchuk (Montreal). Sister of Catherine Parsons of Ottawa. Mom was instrumental in bringing Lifeline to Brantford with the Kiwanis Club and was on the Customer Advisory Board for Lifeline Systems Canada from 1997-2001. Kiwanis Club of Brantford granted her honorary membership. She became involved in various committees at the Sanderson Centre in Brantford related to management, programming, and marketing. She kept active on the Brant County Health Unit's seniors fall prevention committee and fundraising for the Canadian Diabetes Association and the Heart and Stroke Foundation. She was also vice-president of St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation and volunteered at the Brantford General Hospital. Mom was proud of her Ukrainian heritage and became actively involved with the Chaika Ukrainian dance and choir ensemble in Hamilton and the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League. Cremation to follow.
