Obituary of Daniel Raymond Rath

Unexpectedly, at home in his 44th year, Daniel Raymond Rath passed away due to natural causes on November 4th, 2023. He is predeceased by his grandparents Gord and Lorraine Reid, Harley Reid, Catherine Crockett, Linda Reid and a special friend and mentor Dr. Helmut Groh. Survived by his mother and stepfather, Ruth Ann and David Roper, siblings: Lisa (Brian) Fortey, Ed (Rebekkah) Rath, Kelly (Brad) Mousseau, Kristine Gerrits and James Racine. Dan will be missed by all his nieces and nephews: Alex Reid, Eleanor, Christine, Hope Anne Marie, Trenton, Myles, Mason, Clayton, Michaela, Aiden, Harrison, Zach, Branden and Tyler. Aunt Donna (Don) Summerton, Aunt Kathy (Mike) McLean, Aunt Barb (David) Chasteen, many cousins and friends and his two goddaughters, Quinn and Aubrae. Dan was a long-time employee of the LCBO for 21 years. He loved coaching and training the London Junior Knights. A celebration of life will take place at the Byron Legion Branch 533, 1276 Commissioners Road W in London, ON. It will be held on November 18, 2023, from 12pm noon - 3pm… All are welcome!
