My sincere condolences Alec and family. Our lives crossed paths in the 1960’s at the School for the Deaf, Belleville, and again with mutual friends the Simpson’s. I still smile when I recall a special joke of Peggy’s about the tattooed mouse. Remember the good times, jokes, kindnesses. She was one of a kind! Lois Rose

Alec my thoughts are with you and Wendy and your other family members at this time of loss. Peggy was a charmer and her wit and laughter still make me smile ! I still have the iris bulbs she gave me and I think of her when they bloom. Take good care of each other , Peggy will be watching .

Edward and I wanted to reach out and share our sincere condolences. I will always remember Peggy with that wonderful smile of hers and her deep caring for others. I have fond memories of the year Peggy, Alec, and Wendy joined us for an extended family Christmas dinner. I was very touched by the way she reached out to our elderly mother (Lydia in the picture below) taking time to get her out to luncheons and even strawberry picking! She will be missed by all whose life she touched. Edward and Jen

To all the Burns families- Our hearts go out to you all. Peggy’s laugh and smile were contagious. The daisies she gave us from her garden continue to bloom nicely in our yard. :) She will be dearly missed. Love Anthony, Helen, Ashley & Daniel xo
