Obituary of Hansjuerg Rolf Spring

Passed away peacefully at age 91 on Nov 10, 2024 with his family by his side. Hans of London, ON is survived by his daughters Susan Hagerman(Michael) of Whistler BC, Megan Singeris(Phil) of London, ON, his sister Susan Haldiman of Switzerland, granddaughter Stephanie(Zach) & grandsons William and Max, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Hans is predeceased by his wonderful wife Veda(Sorrill) Spring in 2018 and his son John in 2022. Born in Switzerland, he immigrated to Canada at the age of 25 and settled in Toronto, working in industry. He then attended Teacher's College and Western University in London graduating with a M.Ed Degree. He retired after a 31year teaching career. He was an outdoor enthusiast including mountain climbing, canoeing and hiking among his favourite activities & enjoyed gardening with his wife Veda. He was a longtime member of the Scouting Movement and served as a Palliative Care Volunteer for a number of years. Cremation has taken place, arrangements entrusted to London Cremation Services www.londoncremation.com. Family & friends will meet at a later date to celebrate his life.
