Although I hadn't known you for a long time ,I am grateful for the time I had, thank you for opening up your home to me and for sharing the last part of your journey . I am so honoured to have gotten to know a man as loving and open as you were. The most beautiful things are not seen, but felt with the heart.
Thank you for touching mine.

I light this candle as it
The candle symbolizes light in the darkness of life especially individual life, illlumination; it is the symbol of holy illumination of the spirit of truth. Lit in times of death, they signify the light in the next world, and they represent Christ as the light.
The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.”
The flame of a candle represents our spark of the divine , you have gone home to your creator to fly amongst the Angel's and although we can know longer see you or touch you , we know you are with your beloved, and you are both always walking with us, always in our hearts .

Occasionally people come into your life and you instinctively know that your life will be happier and probably a bit " rowdier "
That occasion for us was when we moved to Agincourt in the early 1960 s.....
There was always a cup of coffee waiting for you in Bob and Jane's kitchen...
We were happy to meet Jane's friends and family ..the kitchen was just a happy place !
Even after Bob suffered a stroke many years ago that affected his eyesight ....he just took it on as another challenge ....and he ramped up his exercise routine and his volunteer schedule ....
Never one to moan or whine he just showed so many of us the positive results when you get out of your own way....
Bravo Bob and Jane you showed us what love and family was all about....
You will be remembered fondly

Bob was my second dad. He was a great man. I spent many a night hanging with him, having the occasional shot of jack daniels. He was the funniest person. He will be greatly missed
